" together with sets a pace which doesn't let up. Bernie's lyric here is intimate, giving us a view of Susie and also the protagonist. The descriptions in the "fringe front on my own buggy" and "a frisky little colt within a hurry" lend us mental and emotional pictures which, at least for me, makes me want to become there. Elton has been a leader, giving us this epic picture involving everyday workmanship in room or space, an idea that spoke on the loss of innocence.
